Sneaking in Some Pool Time

As I mentioned in the previous post, rain is setting into St. Pete so today was a cloudy day. We took the kids to the pool this morning.  TJ, Kel, Maddi and Paige arrived last night so it was fun to let the kids play together.  TJ and Kel ran out for breakfast while Nick and I played lifeguards.  I'm fairly certain manning four kids was all that was needed to convince Nick two kids is enough.  :)  No worries, grandparents...I still think I can convince him to go for one more!

There is nothing better for kids (especially my precious little girl) than swimming, McDonald's for lunch, afternoon naps and finish the night off with pizza and ice cream.   It's like a dream come true. Speaking of dreams coming true, I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed my afternoons by the pool. Nick has covered nap time and I take my Karen Kingsbury book and soak in the peaceful serenity of pool time with no kids.  Plus, Nick loves the 20 movie channels my parents have at the condo.  Between that and his iPad/Tiger Woods golf, he's getting some much needed R&R himself. 

 Definitely the love of my and it helps he's so darn cute!
