The kids just had their 1 year and 4 year old check ups with Dr. Meg! One of my dearest friends has officially joined the pediatric office the kids have gone to, so we had fun visiting her for the first time. Both kids are healthy and doing great.
Ali has fun at her appointments. Megan's nurse, Lindsay was asking Ali all sorts of questions and she asked her if she could spell her name. Much to my surprise, Ali said A-L-L-I-S-N-O. Okay, so she didn't get it right, but I had no idea she could get it that close! It was so cute to see. Ali has been learning so much in school and it is really starting to show and she has become quite the colorer. Ali is growing great along the charts, she's just above 50% in weight and 75% in height. She's tall and skinny! Ali is still my picky eater. She doesn't have much interest for vegetables, but I'm hoping that will change as Brock gets more interested. I know this will shock everyone considering she is the child of two accountants, but Ali definitely has some OCD tendancies. She likes everything in its place and appreciates her routine.
Brock is our big boy. He weighs just under 25 pounds. He's 92 percentile in height and 60 percentile in weight. Poor little guy had to get shots, but he took them like a champ. They had to prick his finger for a routine test. After they do that, they wrap it so it doesn't bleed. He looked like a little boxer and thought the wrapping was a chew toy. Needless to say, I took it off as soon as we got home. Brock eats more and more people food each day. He eats just about anything we put in front of him...which I love! He continutes to explore his world. He loves playing with anything that has wheels or anything that Ali is in the middle of playing with. The tormenting has begun!
I am very blessed to have healthy and happy kids. It's something I praise God for every day! It's awesome to stop and see the world through your kid's eyes.
