My sister in law absolutely loves Fall. She loves the clothes, the colors, the decorations, the food...literally everything. For the last few years she has talked about having a fall family fun night. She imagined it filled with wonderful memories of giggling children, hot apple cider, s'mores by the bonfire and adorable carved pumpkins. We finally agreed it would be fun to do. An hour into it, we realized Kelli must have been on drugs or something because "Fall Family Fun Night" was really "Let's work our parents to death night." It was full of scraping out pumpkins, carving the most complicated designs out of the pumpkin carving book, kids falling in the mud, keeping kids from falling in the fire, sticky s'more fingers and a whole lot of cleaning up. Kelli has officially decided that kids aren't invited to next year's "Fall Fun Night."
Despite the work, we actually had a great time hanging out with our friends. The kids had a blast and here's a look at our night.
