The Indiana State Fair

One the traditions I have begun to enjoy is taking the kids to the Indiana State Fair.  We went last Friday night with my parents and I actually decided to take the kids back out one morning last week. It was our last week before Ali starts preschool so I wanted to do something fun with the kiddos on my day off.

This is about as good of a picture of I can get of both kiddos together.

Ali loves petting the baby calves.

My parents with Mr. Brock.

Ali racing Nick down the slides...she actually beat him! Okay, her dad may have given her a head start, but she was pretty proud.

Ali and Papaw rode the Dizzy Dragon

On our second trip, we spent some time in the Family Park.  This kids loved the Little Hands on the Farm.  Each child gets a basket and walks a path collecting items and learning where food comes from. Ali is sporting the hat here, but Brock has been wearing it around and pushing the tractors we got for him.

Speaking of tractors, he loved these ride on tractors, but was a little short to peddle.

Here's Ali milking a cow...okay, not a real one, but she jumped right in

Ali getting ready to ride the roll a coaster.

Brock LOVED these cars!

Here's a  couple extra downloads from my phone...
A ride on the ferris wheel. Ali looked at Nick and asked him to ride this and he quickly said Mommy would ride...Nick is a little scared of heights!

This is our ride on the tram.  They were giving out free ice cream cups, so I thought that would make a good morning snack...which is evidenced on Brock's face. :)
