The World of Ali

Ali has had a lot of things going on the last couple weeks. This last week wrapped up another year of preschool. Ali has one more year and then kindergarten.  Because Ali's birthday is late August, she will be one of the older people in her class and will start kindergarten when she's 6.

We thought having Ali play soccer this spring would be good for her. She played in the fall and we thought keeping her involved was a good idea.  Our conclusion to our theory is that Ali may not be the raving athlete.  Her teacher called her very artistic and her interest level in soccer would be supportive evidence to such claim.  Nick and I don't want to force her into anything, but we wanted her to finish the season and we encourage her to keep trying. Thank the Lord it's done with. We have learned our lesson and informed Ali that her soccer career is most likely over.

Here are some highlights from a busy couple weeks:

No Aunt Nat, I don't need a tissue...I'll just use my shirt :)
(This is one of those pictures you pull out for her wedding video...your welcome, Paige)

Last year for her birthday, Ali got a butterfly kit. We finally ordered the stuff and we are "growing butterflies."  They should hatch soon, but this was Ali once we transferred them into the butterfly garden. It's actually a cool process.

This is our wonderful neighbor Brea playing with Ali. As you can see, Ali's all dressed up!

Brock waiting for Ali's closing program to start.

Ali's closing program at school was a "Groovy" theme. She loved it. She is a singer and dancer...this was right up her alley.
