Brock is officially on the move. He’s been taking a handful of steps for about a month and a half. However, we were in Morton the week before Christmas and he really started to walk in big spurts. Since then, he has been nonstop. He holds his arms in the air and puffs his little chest out to keep his balance, but he is officially mobile. He’s working on standing up on his own (versus using the furniture or person next to him). He’s also become quite the climber. It’s not uncommon to find him sitting on random furniture. He is very proud of himself.
He went a couple weeks ago for his 15 month checkup. He’s pushed over the 25 lb mark and around the 80th percentile in height and weight. He’s definitely a healthy boy! He gets his feelings hurt when you discipline him. He falls on the ground and buries his head in the ground. It’s pitiful! He’s working on several words…Mama, Dada, Ali (which sounds like Aaahheeee), and Gigi. I’m not sure how all the Sponsel grandkids can say Gigi so quickly, but they have it down. Brock loves to dance and absolutely is mesmerized when Faith Hill breaks out the NFL football introduction song on NBC (it’s doesn’t bother Nick too much either considering she wear’s a black leather outfit)! Ali and Brock love to growl at each other for fun and Brock quickly lets Ali know when he doesn’t like what she’s doing.
Brock is my snuggle bug and loves to cuddle for a few minutes when he wakes up. I love him to pieces and don't know what we did without him.
