Blakely Renee Hopkins

It's hard to believe the photos below were taken 9 weeks ago.  Blakely Renee Hopkins entered this world November 17th and I couldn't feel more blessed. The holidays made the weeks after her arrival a whirlwind, but as I head into the final couple weeks of maternity leave, I plan to catch up on what our family has been up to and how we have fallen in love with Blakely!

This little pumpkin weighed in at 9 lbs 5 ounces.  She had some fluid in her chest and spent her first few hours in the special care nursery, but she is a very healthy little girl!

These three girls are treasures to me and they came to see me the night Blakely was born. Ironically, I was pretty drugged up and remember very little from their visit. However, the love my kids and I'm thankful for their friendship

Ali's class made cards for Blakely and Ali was reading them to her. I'm not sure Blakely is too interested, but it was so sweet

Uncle TJ had to travel the day Blakely was born but came to see her as soon as he got home.  Unfortunately, he had to fight his wife to hold her.
