This picture pretty much summarizes my kids. Ali has Brock in a slight headlock trying to get him to cooperate, all while holding this precious smile. Brock on the other hand, won't pry his fingers from his mouth long enough for a picture and has a very slight annoyance with his sister.
Brielle, Annelise and Ali waiting for the parade to start
Mama and Papa Sponz enjoying a "little slice of americana" (that's what my dad refers to Pumpkin Festival as)
Grammy and the crew in position to catch some candy
My nephew Max (in the back) was in the parade with the Jr. High Marching Band. We were all yelling for him, but Mr. Cool held his composure
Hadley was my mom's buddy for the parade. Hadley was adopted from China in June and is quickly catching on to the craziness of the Hopkins clan
My and my little guy...finally a smile!
Max also participated in the pie eating contest. You can't see the guy on the other side of Max but I don't think he had ever missed a meal. He took the winnings, but Max did finish 2nd. We'll have to do more training next year
I love how these two boys are becoming such good buddies.
This cracks me up...Brock was terrified of the roller coaster. As he got off , I made an effort to act so excited because he did it on his own and he shouted "I did not wike dat ride!!!"
The long slide was more Brock's pace. He thought he was hot stuff going down by himself
Ali and Annelise on the motorcycles
Two proud aunts...Delaney is becoming such a beautiful young lady!
