We had a great trip to Siesta Key with the Sponsel Family. Our kids had a blast with their cousins and we enjoyed a week of sunshine and sand. Here's a look back at our week...

A little domino action
The picture screams summer innocence to me. The kids loved running on the beach at sunset!
My cousin Val and John started to walk along the beach. I happen to have my camera and thought "oh, I'll get some cute pictures of them for Val." Moments later, we all realized John was proposing. It might have been one of the sweetest things I've seen.
This is after the proposal. It was very cool that Val's parents and my grandma got to witness the moment. My Aunt MaryBeth's commentary was hilarious. "It looks like John is proposing...Is John proposing....Oh my gosh, John is proposing....everyone act natural like we weren't watching"
My cousin Michelle and her little guy Grant. Hopkins baby #3 will be about 10 months younger than Grant. I have a feeling they will cause some trouble together on vacations in the next couple years.

The ship was a little too rough for Brock so Nick pulled out his Baywatch instincts and walked him to the beach.
