Strawberry Festival

Tonight we went to the White River Township Strawberry Festival. The firefighters put on this annual event and it's a great evening for the kids to explore all the firetrucks, jump in some bounce houses, make messes with snow cones and of course, eat strawberry shortcake. We enjoyed a great evening with some great friends. Matt and Ashley have a son, Braden, Ali's age and a little guy that's just 8 weeks old.

Braden and Ali...best buddies!

Brock loved the fire trucks. For some reason, Brock calls cars "carneys!?" We have no idea where it comes from but he loved the big "carneys"

Probably more entertaining than the children was this big kid. Nick was so excited checking out all the gear. He had Matt, Ashley and me cracking up most of the night

This was Brock watching the band play. I want to always remember those curls in his hair. It may be about time to cut them...he's been called a girl twice lately.

This big boy is going to show Brock the ropes. He's all boy and loves his superheroes...and of course, snow cones!

I fairly certain this is my daughter's attempt to flirt for some of Braden's snow cone...I'm actually kind of proud!

 Mr. Dane just chilling!

Braden was calling in for backup

Ali's exact quote "I salute you Captain Brock!"
